Side plank with twisting
The side plank with twisting is one of the most effective exercises for training the corset muscles. It helps to strengthen the lateral abs, makes it easier to get rid of fat in the flanks and waist area, and increases body stability.
To perform the side plank with twisting, you need to take the initial plank: lying on the floor on your side, leaning on your forearms and the sides of your legs. In this case, the body should be level, and the muscles of the corset are tense.
Then you need to raise the upper body, bend in the lower back and bring the knee of the upper leg to the elbow of the opposite arm. After that, return to the starting position and repeat the movement on the other side.
It is important to perform the exercise correctly and control your breathing.
Gradually increase the time of the exercise and the number of repetitions. Start with 3-4 repetitions on each side and gradually increase to 10-15. Remember that quality execution is more important than the number of repetitions.
