Exercises to open the chest area
This exercise is especially suitable for office workers 👫
For this exercise you need a cushion and a yoga brick, if you don’t have a brick you can use books instead.
Place the brick on the middle of your thoracic region , the space between your shoulders and lower back.
Put a pillow under your head so that your neck is comfortable and nothing gets in the way.
Stay in this position for 5 to 15 minutes and breathe deeply. 🧎♀️.
If you are tired of just lying down, move your arms. This will create movement in your joints, shoulder blades and pectoral muscles.
👇If you have limitations:
1. elbows are not resting on the floor in a bent position
2. You find it very hard or uncomfortable.
Then lower your arms along your body with your palms facing up.
Do all exercises in your comfort zone. If you have acute pain, then there is no need to do this
