Fake Breath
Vacuum
In this video, we will learn how to do a fake breath from a supine position. This will allow you to feel how, with the correct execution of the Vacuum, the ribs diverge to the sides and, due to the negative pressure in the abdominal cavity, your internal organs first fall down to the spine and then are pulled up under the diaphragm.
During the execution of the technique, it is necessary to hold your breath after a full exhalation. An imitation of inhalation should be done by straightening the chest with the help of the intercostal muscles, while the stomach should remain relaxed. As a result of this breath-holding action, the abdomen begins to move towards the chest. Together with him, due to the difference in pressure, the relaxed diaphragm will move. An important point: you do not retract the stomach! You should try to open the ribs to the sides as much as possible, like a parachute. It is due to this that your stomach will pull up! The better you exhaled and stretched your chest, the brighter the feeling of the retracted abdomen.
Next, you need to hold this position for a comfortable time, and then squeeze the ribs and slowly inhale. The fake breath technique improves arterial blood flow and increases venous blood outflow. In addition, it stimulates intestinal motility, the release of bile from the gallbladder and the production of digestive juices, which is especially useful for atonic constipation and lazy bowel syndrome. Negative pressure in the chest, which is created when performing vacuum techniques, improves blood circulation and helps to avoid stagnant processes in the pelvis, helping to restore the cycle with functional dysmenorrhea and painful periods.
Do all exercises in your comfort zone. If you have acute pain, then there is no need to do this
