Video course on Nauli

Vacuum and belly wave

With this video, a video course on Nauli begins, helping to gradually master this wonderful technique step by step.

Nauli is one of the main cleansing yogic practices. The name comes from the words “dangling boat”, since it is this image that resembles the abdominal cavity in the process of execution. Nauli also has a second name – lauliks, stomach churning.

The Nauli technique is mentioned in texts such as the Gheranda Samhita and the Hatha Yoga Pradipika. However, these texts do not describe the process in enough detail so that you can learn how to make Nauli yourself from them.

With the help of Nauli, we are able to make a unique massage of the organs in the abdominal cavity. In the process, the rectus abdominis muscles are pushed outward while the obliques are pulled inward. When the rectus muscles tense in turn, it is as if a wave is going through the stomach. One of the most common mistakes in learning technique is trying to tighten the oblique muscles. If this is done, the technique will fail.

This practice helps in eliminating problems with digestion, circulation and even affects the emotional sphere. A number of other asanas have an effect similar to Nauli, but the latter has a faster effect. Nauli stimulates the intestines, nervous and endocrine systems, reproductive organs. Improved blood circulation contributes to their strengthening and healing. The technique as part of a comprehensive treatment allows you to get rid of digestion, high acidity, varicose veins, prostatitis, and depression.

Do all exercises in your comfort zone. If you have acute pain, then there is no need to do this
